Qatar Foundation Introduces 'Juthoor - Early Education Center' For Early Childhood Education
Doha, Qatar: Qatar Foundation has announced the rebranding of its early childhood services under the new identity 'Juthoor - Early Education Center', part of its Pre-University Education (PUE) division. The rebranding brings together the Early Education Center (EEC) and the Qatar Nanny Training Academy (QNTA) under one umbrella.
The unification of these two entities aims to enhance service quality and deliver a holistic experience that reflects Qatar Foundation's (QF) commitment to excellence and innovation in early childhood education and care, while creating broader opportunities for children, families, and the wider community.
Juthoor - Early Education Center currently serves around 200 children between the ages of six months and three years at its facilities in Qatar Academy Doha (QAD) and Multaqa (Education City Student Center), with plans to expand in January to Qatar Academy Al Khor (QAK). Enrollment is open to both QF and non-QF staff, providing wider access for families across the community.
"At Juthoor - Early Education Center, our mission is to provide every child with a solid foundation for life by blending nurturing care with quality education,” said Nadine Samko, Associate Director of Juthoor - Early Education Center. "We believe the early years are the most formative stage, where a child's character, values, and love of learning truly begin to grow.

"We offer a nurturing and secure environment led by experienced educators who work collaboratively to create a positive and stimulating space. Our holistic approach supports every aspect of a child's growth - academic, emotional, social, physical, and linguistic - ensuring they develop fully and confidently on the right learning path.”
She emphasized that the center's philosophy views every child as capable and full of potential, treating them as active participants in their own learning journey, and fostering an environment that values their voice, creativity, and individuality.

Samko highlighted that educators play a central role in this philosophy. "They integrate Qatari values and culture into learning while delivering a bilingual program with particular emphasis on the Arabic language and religious values, ensuring that children are globally prepared while remaining firmly rooted in their heritage.
"Also, parents are actively involved in their child's learning journey, not only by attending events, but also by participating in classroom projects, receiving regular updates, and joining interactive sessions. These efforts ensure families remain closely connected to both their child's progress and our educational philosophy.
"We have earned families' trust by maintaining high standards and providing more than just daycare. Parents know their children are following a structured curriculum that supports all aspects of development. Through continuous reporting, meetings, and shared goal-setting, we ensure that every child is guided to reach their full potential.
She explained that one of Juthoor - Early Education Center's distinctive initiatives is the integration of the expertise of the Qatar Nanny Training Academy, which demonstrates the center's commitment to engaging with the community. The program provides nannies and caregivers with essential skills in childcare, safety, hygiene, and early learning, enabling them to better support working families and extending the center's impact beyond the classroom and into homes.
Samko emphasized: "The early years of a child's life are the cornerstone of their future, which is why we urge parents not to underestimate their importance. The richer and more meaningful the experiences children are exposed to at this stage, the more curious, confident, and prepared they become for life.
"Recognizing and nurturing a child's interests is equally vital. Without the right support and tools, challenges may emerge later. The earlier this support begins, the greater its impact on building confidence. A happy, confident child is a successful child.”
