Trump's Ex-Lawyer Critically Injured After Car Crash
(MENAFN) Rudy Giuliani, former attorney to US President Donald Trump, remains hospitalized following a severe car collision that left him with multiple fractures after his vehicle was "struck from behind at high speed" in New Hampshire, his representative confirmed Sunday.
Michael Ragusa, Giuliani's spokesperson, disclosed the extent of injuries sustained in Saturday night's crash, revealing he suffered "fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg," media reported.
The collision occurred hours after Giuliani intervened in a domestic violence situation, according to Ragusa's account. Prior to the accident, a female domestic violence victim approached Giuliani, who "rendered assistance," contacted emergency services, and "remained on scene with her until responding officers arrived to ensure her safety."
Ragusa has not clarified any potential connection between the domestic violence incident and the subsequent high-speed rear-end collision that hospitalized the former prosecutor.
Medical officials expect "America's mayor" to remain under care at a Manchester-area medical facility for an additional two to three days before transitioning to outpatient treatment requiring a specialized brace for his vertebral fractures.
