Motorcyclists Gather in Hague to Show Solidarity for Palestine
(MENAFN) Hundreds of motorcyclists convened in The Hague on Sunday to express solidarity with Palestine in a large-scale demonstration.
The event, organized by the group Free Palestine Bikers, attracted participants not only from the Netherlands but also from neighboring Germany and Belgium.
The bikers assembled at Malieveld Square before embarking on a convoy ride through key city streets.
The procession passed notable landmarks, including the International Court of Justice and the Dutch Parliament, drawing attention to their cause.
Many riders displayed Palestinian flags and donned traditional keffiyeh scarves as symbols of support.
After circling the city, the convoy returned to Malieveld Square, where the peaceful rally came to an end.
Since October 2023, Israel’s military offensive has resulted in nearly 63,500 Palestinian deaths, leaving the Gaza enclave devastated as famine deepens during the ongoing conflict described by some as genocide.
In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Israel is also confronting a genocide lawsuit at the International Court of Justice related to its military actions in Gaza.
