India, Qatar Eye Deeper Trade & Investment Cooperation
During the meeting, Sitharaman highlighted the reforms and policy measures undertaken by India over the past decade to attract foreign investment.
Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations under the framework of the India-Qatar strategic partnership, the Finance Ministry said in a post on X.
The Qatari delegation conveyed optimism about investment prospects in India, citing the country's sustained economic growth and advances in technology.
Separately, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary also held discussions with Al-Sayed and his delegation.
Discussions focused on expanding business opportunities, encouraging investments in emerging sectors and reinforcing bilateral economic ties.
