Mod Strongly Condemns Drone Attacks From Pakistan
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Defense (MoD) has condemned recent drone strikes from Pakistan in Nangarhar and Khost provinces, saying that 'such irresponsible actions will have consequences.'
The Ministry of Defense in a statement posted on its official X page said:“We strongly condemn the drone attacks on Afghan soil, which resulted in the martyrdom of children and women.”
“Such cruel and barbaric actions are in no one's interest, but rather increase the distance between the two Muslim nations and hatred between both sides. Such irresponsible actions will have their consequences.”
The attacks killed three children and wounded seven others, including women and children, according to the Foreign Ministry, which summoned the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul yesterday in response to the attacks.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in a statement:“In response to Pakistan's attacks on Nangarhar and Khost provinces, the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul was summoned and handed over a letter of protest.”
