Tunisians To Attend BFSHOW Footwear Fair
Registered international buyers come from Germany, Argentina, Aruba, Botswana, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, the United States, Gibraltar, Guatemala, Israel, Nigeria, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Tunisia, Turkey, and Uruguay. Tunisia is an Arab country in North Africa. More than 12,000 people are expected, including both foreign and Brazilian buyers.
“In this edition, as we face an unstable scenario regarding exports to the US, the fair becomes even more important for our industry, especially given the need to diversify markets,” said Letícia Sperb Masselli, Relationship and Business Manager at the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abicalçados), in a statement.
In its 5th edition, the fair is hosted by Abicalçados and organized by NürnbergMesse Brasil. In addition to importers attending independently, foreign visitors are invited through initiatives by the fair and Brazilian Footwear, a project spearheaded by Abicalçados and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) to foster Brazilian exports in the sector.
Felipe Marchiori, head of BFSHOW at NürnbergMesse Brasil, believes that the fair's international business volume is likely to match or even exceed that of the last edition. In the 4th edition, foreign sales reached BRL 240 million. According to Marchiori, expectations are very positive. Registration to attend the fair remains open on the BFSHOW website.
