Gaza: 71 Killed, 339 Injured By Israeli Strikes In 24 Hours

Gaza, Aug. 28 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Health in Gaza said Thursday that hospitals in the Strip received 71 Palestinians killed and 339 injured in the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks.
According to the ministry's daily statistical report, the toll of the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 62,966 killed and 159,266 injured.
The ministry noted that between March 18, 2025, and today alone, 11,121 Palestinians have been killed and 47,225 injured.
It added that hospitals recorded 22 deaths and 203 injuries over the past 24 hours due to malnutrition, bringing the total number of deaths in this category to 2,180 and injuries to over 16,046.
The report also documented four new deaths in the past 24 hours directly linked to starvation, including two children, raising the total number of such deaths to 317, among them 121 children.
