Astrology Explained As A Tool For Personal Transformation By Author, Jim Sher, In New Book Astrology As A Spiritual Path: Birth Of A New Human
"I grew up and spent much of my social work career in the Midwest, where mainstream psychology was behavior modifications and spiritual questions were left to religion," explains the author. "But from a very young age, I craved more of our essence and explored many methodologies and traditions, such as depth psychology, transpersonal astrology and the works of Carl Jung, Sri Aurobindo, and Dane Rudhyar."
"Frustrated by astrology's narrow focus on prediction ," Sher continues, "I was drawn to transpersonal astrology, that supports the development of individual uniqueness and deeper self-awareness. Through years of one-on-one work with clients, I developed my own approach, taught it and now am sharing it in a wider format. It is my hope that readers will learn how to use this tool in meaningful ways to enrich their own lives, as much as it has served me, my clients, and students since 2001."
