
2 Dead, 12 Injured In Ghazni Traffic Accidents
GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least two people have been killed and 12 others injured in two separate traffic accidents in southern Ghazni province, police official said on Sunday.
Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the first accident occurred on Saturday near the Mohammadi Pump Station in the 4th police district of Ghazni city, the provincial capital, when two passenger vehicles collided.
The collision left two people dead and nine others injured, according to Sarhadi.
In a second incident, a car overturned in the Tawdachina area of Aab Band district, leaving three people injured, including two women.
Highway police promptly responded to both scenes, transferring the injured and the deceased to Ghazni Civil Hospital and handing over the vehicles to the traffic department, Sarhadi added.
