Kuwait Crowned Champion Of The World Wingsuit Flying Tourney

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Aug 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's National Wingsuit Flying Team was declared the top winner on Friday in the world's fifth championship held in the Czech Republic.
The Kuwaiti Olympic Committee said in a statement that the national team was the first Arab team to partake in the international tournament and win the crown.
The Kuwaitis Ali Askar, Farhan Al-Mhaisen and Faisal Al-Sharqawi won the top rank in the national teams' category, and Al-Askar came second in the general classification for all participants.
Al-Mhaisen also won the silver in the time category while Askar bagged the bronze in the speed and distance competitions. (end)
