Global Gen Z Embark On A Cross-Cultural 240-Hour Visa-Free China Travel Journey

During the journey, Chinese youth volunteers acted as "local cultural guides," walking alongside international peers, sharing stories and traditions, while global youths posted highlights on social media, capturing their genuine impressions of the China Travel trip.

In Beijing, Chinese and global youths sang We Are The World and Beijing Welcomes You together at the Badaling Great Wall and Sanlitun, drawing crowds of tourists to join in. They also visited the Beiyun River in Tongzhou, visited the smart agriculture base in Pinggu, and the "Robot World" exhibition in Yizhuang.

In Cangzhou, Hebei, they discovered the city's unique blend of culture and martial arts, practicing Bajiquan, crafting sachets, and making Chinese New Year woodblock prints, and strolling through the historic streets of Nanchuan Old Street at night. In Wuqiao County, the "Hometown of Chinese Acrobatics", inheritors of intangible cultural heritage amazed global youths with Chinese acrobatic performances such as Suona, Fannangzi, Dengdagang, and Sanxianguidong, while modern acrobatics shows at the Jianghu Theater also drew enthusiastic applause.

"I love all the performers," said Michael Flicker from the United States after watching the Dengdagang show. "Wuqiao Zaji (acrobatic) is amazing!"

Later, in Yancheng, Jiangsu, the group visited the Yellow Sea Wetland Museum, the Red-crowned Crane Ecological Reserve, and the National Elk Park, immersing themselves in the beauty of wetland ecology.

"With respect and curiosity, we connected and resonated with each other's cultures," said Liu Zihe, a student from the Communication University of China.

Beatrice De Salles, the Vice Chairwoman of Global View On China Committee, who accompanied the group, stated: "I believe that this trip is one of the most important things that will ever happen in their life."
