Startup Kashmir Hosts Pitch Deck Event With US-Based Angel Investor

Srinagar- Startup Kashmir organized a sector-agnostic Pitch Deck Event, bringing together emerging entrepreneurs and industry experts to share ideas and explore investment opportunities. The event was attended by Syed Tasawur Jalali, a US-based angel investor; Khair ul Nisa Shah, Director at Startup Kashmir and Alson Motors; and Shahid Ansari, CEO of Startup Kashmir.

Fourteen startups from Kashmir participated, representing sectors such as technology, wellness, banking, education, textiles, and handicrafts. Entrepreneurs presented their business models, showcased their solutions, and received direct feedback from investors and experts.

The event went beyond traditional pitching, creating space for collaboration and exchange of ideas. Founders gained valuable insights into market expectations and international standards. Several high-potential startups were shortlisted to advance to the next stage of the program, opening doors to further support and scale-up opportunities.

Syed Tasawur Jalali underlined the importance of nurturing local talent, stating,“The passion and potential I witnessed today is inspiring. I look forward to working with these startups and helping them grow beyond borders.”
