Embrace Pet Insurance Makes Puppy Pound Dreams Come True For 44 Rescue Dogs
To drive excitement during camp, the Browns introduced eight featured puppies on their social media channels, each with a fun, Browns-themed name, like Mason Grrr-aham, Joe Fluff-o and Ruff Sunahara. A new pup was spotlighted each day camp was open to the public, capturing the hearts of fans and followers alike.
This year's Puppy Pound also included a Dawg Pound Adult Dog Adoption Day as part of the Browns Dawg Pound XL initiative-encouraging fans to consider adopting older dogs as well.
"We're proud to partner with the Browns to make the Puppy Pound possible-it's a heartwarming way to bring together two passionate communities: pet lovers and Browns fans," said Laura Dunn, senior manager of strategic communications at Embrace Pet Insurance. "Our team looks forward to it all year long-it's always a joy to see so many pups find their people."
The Puppy Pound has also become a favorite among Browns staff, with seven team members adopting puppies this year-continuing a strong tradition of internal enthusiasm and support.
"One of the highlights of Browns training camp each year at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus is the Puppy Pound, where so many deserving dogs find their forever homes," said Brent Rossi, Chief Marketing Officer of Haslam Sports Group. "We want to thank our partner, Embrace Pet Insurance, for supporting this initiative and covering adoption fees this year, as well as Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups, who cared for these wonderful puppies and brought them to fans for adoption across eight camp dates."
Dianne Schubeck, board member and treasurer at Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups, said:
"We are grateful to the Cleveland Browns, Embrace Pet Insurance and all the amazing fans who opened their hearts during this year's training camp Puppy Pound. Every adoption is a new beginning and seeing these 44 puppies go to a loving family is the reason we do what we do."
