Taylor Swift Reveals New Album's Release Date On Boyfriend Travis Kelce's Podcast
Taylor Swift's new album 'The Life of a Showgirl' will be released on October 3, the star revealed while appearing on a podcast fronted by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.
Two days ago, the pop superstar officially announced her 12th studio album, sending Swifties around the world into a frenzy. During Wednesday's episode of the 'New Heights Show', the 35-year-old showcased cover art and a tracklist for what is expected to be one of the biggest albums of the year.

The album release date was also confirmed on Swift's own social media accounts. "And, baby, that's show business for you. New album The Life of a Showgirl. Out October 3," she wrote on Instagram.
She also shared a brief video from the podcast on her Instagram handle, featuring her announcement of the 12th studio album. The tracklist shows 12 entries, including the title track which features Sabrina Carpenter.
Their conversation on the podcast touched upon how she and Travis got together, as well as subjects ranging from reclaiming the rights to her first albums, the hidden clues she plants in music for fans, and her record-breaking Eras Tour, to her love of baking sourdough bread.
Swift last released her studio album 'The Tortured Poets Department' in April 2024, and followed up two hours later by expanding it into a double album titled 'The Anthology.'
The singer has recently wrapped up a nearly two-year world tour, with a $2 billion dollar take that shattered records.
