Qatar Condemns Israeli PM's Remarks On Greater Israel Vision

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar has expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the remarks made by the Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation regarding the so-called "Greater Israel" vision, considering them an extension of the occupation's arrogance-based approach, fomenting crises and conflicts, and constituting an egregious encroachment upon the sovereignty of nations, as well as upon international law, the UN Charter, and resolutions of international legitimacy.
The fabricated Israeli allegations and futile incitement will never undermine the legitimate rights of Arab nations and peoples. There must be solidarity within the international community to counter such provocations, which expose the region to violence and anarchy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed in a statement on Wednesday.
The ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's full support for all efforts aimed at achieving a just, comprehensive, and enduring peace in the region, and at consolidating security and stability both regionally and globally.
Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassim Mohamed Al Budaiwi expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the annexation of parts of the territories of sovereign Arab states.
He considered this a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and international law, and a blatant attack on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.
Al Budaiwi stressed that such dangerous statements and plans pose a direct threat to regional and international security and stability, and clearly reveal the dangerous approach pursued by the occupying forces.
He affirmed the GCC states' categorical rejection of any attempts to undermine the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states.
The Secretary-General called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take a firm stance to halt these provocative statements and plans, and to work to protect the region from any measures that would inflame tensions and undermine the chances of achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
The General Secretariat of the Arab League condemned in the strongest terms Wednesday the statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the annexation of parts of the territories of sovereign Arab states, as a prelude to the establishment of what he called the "Greater Israel Vision." In a statement, the Arab League General Secretariat considered these statements to be a violation of the sovereignty of Arab states and an attempt to undermine security and stability in the region.
They represent a serious threat to collective Arab national security and a blatant challenge to international law and the principles of international legitimacy.
They also reflect expansionist and aggressive intentions that cannot be accepted or tolerated, and reveal an extremist mentality steeped in colonial delusions.
It called on the international community, represented by the UN Security Council, to assume its responsibility and forcefully confront these extremist statements, which destabilize the region and increase the level of regional hatred and rejection of the occupying state.
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Wednesday expressed its condemnation and rejection of the statements made by Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the so-called Greater Israel vision, considering them a dangerous provocative escalation, a threat to the sovereignty of states, and a violation of international law and the Charter of the UN.
The official spokesperson for the ministry Sufyan Qudah affirmed in a statement the Kingdom's absolute rejection of these inciting statements, stressing that these absurd delusions reflected in the statements of Israeli officials will not affect Jordan and Arab countries, nor do they detract from the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
He explained that these statements and practices reflect the troubled situation of the Israeli government, which coincides with its international isolation amid its continued aggression against Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
He emphasized that these claims and delusions adopted and promoted by the extremists in the Israeli government encourage the continuation of cycles of violence and conflict, which requires a clear international stance condemning them and warning of their grave consequences on the region's security and stability, and holding those who make them accountable.
Qudah called for the immediate mobilization of the international community to stop all Israeli inciting actions and statements that threaten the region's stability and international peace and security.
