PM Svyrydenko Meets With ESBU's Team, Business Associations
“We have met with a team of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU) and business associations. We are grateful for their willingness to cooperate for the sake of our state and Ukraine's development. We clearly realize that the strength of Ukrainian entrepreneurship is critically important for the economic stability of the state. Our ability to finance defense, ensure stability, and fulfill social obligations to Ukrainians depends on effective business,” Svyrydenko noted.
In her words, the common task of the parties is to guarantee equal rules of the game for all market participants, fair competition, and eliminate any bureaucratic pressure on honest business.
“Deregulation measures along with de-shadowing efforts in Ukraine are the two elements that are needed for tangible economic growth,” Svyrydenko stressed.
According to the Prime Minister, the special role of the ESBU, primarily as an analytical agency, will contribute to the identification of systemic threats to the economy, the protection of honest business, and the prevention of violations.
Svyrydenko mentioned that the parties had agreed to act in a coordinated manner.
A reminder that, on August 6, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi as Director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU).
