After Winning Hearts In Cinemas, 'Saiyaara' Heads To Netflix On This Date
Mohit Suri's Saiyaara, starring two newcomers, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has turned out to be one of the year's most surprising box office sensations.
After making cinema halls misty-eyed across the country, the film is now heading to living rooms worldwide. YRF's celebrated casting director Shanoo Sharma confirmed the news on Instagram, resharing a post announcing that Saiyaara will stream on Netflix starting September 12.
Recommended For YouProduced by Yash Raj Films, the film explores themes of love, loss, and the fragility of memory. Debutant Ahaan Panday plays Krish Kapoor, a struggling musician whose life changes when he meets Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda), a young writer diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The story unfolds as their bond deepens in the face of an uncertain future, all set to a stirring musical backdrop.
Defying expectations, Saiyaara entered the coveted Rs 3 billion club on August 4, with current domestic earnings standing at Rs 3.21 billion - a rare feat for a romantic drama in today's market.
Worldwide, it has garnered Rs 5.41 billion, according to Bollywood Hungama, becoming the second-highest-grossing film of 2025.
