126 Complete Vocational Training Courses In Logar
PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Around 126 individuals have graduated from vocational training in central Logar province, where officials pledged expanded opportunities for recently returned refugees from Pakistan and Iran to acquire skills and secure employment.
At the graduation ceremony on Sunday, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Maulvi Mohammad Zahid Jan Ahmadzai said thousands of young people in Kabul and other provinces have already gained access to vocational training.
He added that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) is working to provide both vocational education and job opportunities for those who have recently returned from neighboring countries.
Ahmadzai urged the graduates to work in their professional fields and pass on their expertise to other youth.
Similarly, Logar's Deputy Governor, Maulvi Mohammad Anwar Dinparwar, stressed that Afghan youth now need vocational training and employment opportunities more than ever.
He said the provincial administration is striving to ensure access to both education and jobs for young people in the province.
Meanwhile, the province's Director of Labor and Social Affairs, Maulvi Mohammad Hanif Ans, said the 126 graduates completed six months of training in mobile phone repair, building wiring and plumbing.
