Jordan applauds peace deal of Azerbaijan, Armenia
(MENAFN) On Saturday, Jordan’s Foreign Ministry expressed its approval of the recently reached peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, facilitated by the U.S. President Donald Trump.
Spokesperson Sufian Qudah referred to the deal as a landmark achievement that is expected to strengthen security and promote peace in the South Caucasus area. He emphasized that the agreement supports the approach of settling conflicts through peaceful negotiations.
Qudah also praised the role played by the U.S. administration in helping broker the accord, noting that it will aid in fostering greater regional stability.
