Al Waha Car Dealership Reopens After Implementing Comprehensive Corrective Measures
Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) announced Monday the reopening of Al Waha Motors – JETOUR showroom after the company implemented extensive corrective actions.
The reopening follows the ministry's efforts to support the local automotive sector, ensure fair commercial practices, and safeguard consumer rights.
Corrective measures taken by the company include:
* Providing urgent spare parts valued at QR1 million
* Resolving all complaints filed against the company
* Paying fines totaling QR 324,000
* Committing to open an additional maintenance center to improve services

The decision to reopen the showroom comes after a temporary closure due to multiple violations , including failure to provide spare parts and service delays. Regulatory inspections had recorded over 300 official consumer complaints and 45 repeated violations.
The Ministry affirmed its continued commitment to enforce Law No. (8) of 2008 regarding consumer protection and its executive regulations.
