Heavy Rains Expected Across KP And Other Regions Till August 7, Says Met Office
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is among the regions where heavy rainfall is expected from today through August 7, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The forecast also includes parts of Islamabad, Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, where intermittent downpours may occur over the coming days.
On Sunday night, light to moderate showers were reported in various areas of Islamabad, bringing a pleasant change in the weather. Karachi also experienced scattered light rain and drizzle.

Meanwhile, heavy rainfall is predicted in parts of Balochistan on August 6. Coastal areas of Sindh are likely to remain partly cloudy with chances of light rain or drizzle.
Separately, spillways of Rawal Dam have been opened as a precautionary measure. Low-level flooding continues in the Indus River at Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, and Sukkur barrages.
