“Samurai Priest Vampire Hunter” Starring Tim Thomerson, Released On Blu-Ray By OCN Distribution And ETR Media

Retro cult film Samurai Priest Vampire Hunter debuts on Blu-ray, starring Tim Thomerson and packed with action, vampires, and tons of special features.

Los Angeles, CA - July 29, 2025 - U.S.-based physical media distributor OCN Distribution, in partnership with ETR Media, has officially released Samurai Priest Vampire Hunter (SPVH) on Blu-ray for the first time today.

Directed and written by Mark Terry (Protocol: New Orleans), SPVH stars genre icons Tim Thomerson, Ken Foree, and Tiffany Shepis in an action-packed tale about a comic book character brought to life. As the Samurai Priest (played by Thomerson), he embarks on an epic chase to hunt down a dangerous clique of vampires.

Produced by MT Entertainment, in collaboration with Thorium 230 Inc., the film is a stylized blend of retro action and cult horror.

The Hollywood Reporter has praised Samurai Priest Vampire Hunter as a "hidden gem," while Hi-Def Digest gave the special feature-packed Blu-ray a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

“This is a movie made for fans of gritty, retro-style films,” says director Mark Terry.“There is a growing demand for entertaining retro movies that were shot on film and that also have an edge. We are excited to supply this demand with an over-the-top and nonstop action story, as is the case with SPVH.”
