Türkiye Repatriates Fugitives from Multiple Nations
(MENAFN) Türkiye has successfully repatriated 15 individuals on the run, which includes 14 persons flagged with Interpol red notices and one who was being sought at the national level, according to a statement made by the nation's interior minister on Sunday.
“We brought 15 fugitives back to our country from Georgia, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Serbia, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus,” Ali Yerlikaya declared on X.
He further emphasized that since June 2023, Türkiye has managed to obtain the extradition of a total of 407 offenders from overseas.
“We brought 15 fugitives back to our country from Georgia, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Serbia, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus,” Ali Yerlikaya declared on X.
