Kashmir Super League: United Elegant Beats New JK United
(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) Srinagar- Kashmir Super League witnessed a dominating display on Thursday as United Elegant FC defeated New JK United FC 4-1 at TRC Ground in Srinagar. J&K Bank XI captain Aakif Reshi scored a hat trick to help United Elegant overcome their opponents.
It wasn't a smooth sailing for United Elegant. After Aakif opened the scoring in the 11th minute, New JK United responded with a penalty goal from Amit Kumar. At half time, the score was 1-1.
It wasn't until the minute 76, when Moonis gave United Elegant the 2-1 lead. Soon after, New JK United went all-in to grab the equaliser. However,“Goal Machine” Aakif capitalised on the space he was afforded and scored two goals within four minutes to complete his hat trick.
The Round 3 matchups will conclude on Friday when Greenend Heroes FC will square off against Aqua Kashmir Avengers FC at 7:00 PM.
