Eigenq And WNC Announce Strategic Collaboration To Deliver FIPS-Certified Quantum-Safe Hardware At HPE Discover 2025

(MENAFN- PR Newswire) Under the agreement, WNC will provide contract-manufacturing (CM) and joint-design-and-manufacturing (JDM) services for EigenQ's Post-Quantum UnitTM (PQU) hardware and Quantum Encryption ModuleTM (QEM) software stack. The combined solution delivers NSA CSfC-ready lattice-based encryption and authentication at line rate, meeting the U.S. Government's 2027 deadline for post-quantum cryptography mandated by the Quantum Computing Cybersecurity Preparedness Act and the June 2025 Presidential Executive Order on quantum-safe migration.

"Partnering with WNC lets us scale from pilot runs to tens of thousands of units while preserving secure, U.S.-controlled supply chains," said Dr. Jesse Van Griensven Thé , CEO of EigenQ. "It means federal and enterprise customers can deploy FIPS-certified quantum-proof infrastructure today, align with current regulations, mitigating the threats of today and tomorrow."

Dr. Horen Chen , CTO of WNC, added, "Our partnership with EigenQ represents a strategic milestone as WNC officially enters the field of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). By integrating EigenQ's cutting-edge quantum-encryption technology into our secure hardware platforms, we're proud to deliver the world's first NSA-compliant and NIST-certified quantum-safe solutions for data center servers. With quantum computing on the horizon, WNC is uniquely positioned to scale manufacturing and deployment of future-proof, quantum-resistant, cryptographic devices to address the growing demand across enterprise, service provider, automotive, and IoT verticals."

Key Elements of the Collaboration

  • Turnkey production of EigenQ's PCIe, M.2, and 1U secure-server modules in WNC's ISO-27001 and ISO-9001 facilities.
  • Joint HPE ecosystem enablement -the partners will validate PQU-enabled Gen11 ProLiant servers for public-sector and defense workloads.
  • Road-map alignment to co-develop Wi-Fi 7 and 5G small-cell platforms with embedded post-quantum encryption.
  • Go-to-market cooperation targeting U.S. federal agencies, critical-infrastructure operators, and hyperscale cloud providers facing FY-2027 compliance milestones.

Availability

Pilot quantities of the PQU Gen2 card are shipping now to select integrators. Volume production through WNC begins Q4 2025, with HPE-qualified server bundles available early 2026.
