EY India Launches Academy For AI & Genai To Upskill Workforce

(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Jul 11 (KNN) EY India has launched the AI Academy, a comprehensive learning platform aimed at helping enterprises build AI capabilities and navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

The initiative comes at a time when Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) are reshaping industries and transforming job roles across sectors.

The AI Academy offers structured, hands-on learning paths tailored for different roles-ranging from operational teams to senior leadership. These learning modules are curated by leading AI experts and use over 200 real-world AI use cases to deliver practical, impactful training.

The academy focuses on industries like telecom, banking, infrastructure, IT/ITeS, and FMCG, helping enterprises achieve business goals such as revenue growth, cost reduction, improved customer experience, and risk mitigation.

Having already upskilled over 44,000 employees internally, EY India is now extending this expertise to its clients. The training is delivered through four key programs: 'AI Ambassadors'-a two-day workshop for leaders to develop AI manifestos aligned with business goals; 'AI Transformation Champions'-role-specific training to identify and implement high-impact AI use cases; 'AI Aspirants'-an introductory module covering foundational AI concepts and prompting techniques for general employees; and 'AI Development & Implementation Specialists'-advanced technical training for data scientists, engineers, and GenAI specialists.

A recent pilot of the program across five enterprises led to over 50 AI projects and the development of leadership-level AI adoption strategies. Anurag Malik, Partner and Leader - People Consulting Services, EY India, stated,“As GenAI continues to reshape the world of work and has potential to transform 38 million jobs by 2030, the need to invest in people has never been more critical.”

As part of its broader commitment to building a future-ready talent ecosystem, EY is also engaging with students through Techathon-a nationwide competition that challenges college students to use AI and emerging technologies to solve real-world problems.
