Ukraine EV Sales Soar 30 Percent in First Half of 2025

(MENAFN) Electric vehicle (EV) sales in Ukraine surged to 31,753 units in the first six months of this year, marking a 30% increase compared to the same period last year, according to a report released Tuesday by the Ukravtoprom Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

During this period, registrations included 30,763 electric passenger cars, 978 electric commercial vehicles, and three electric buses, the report detailed.

The top-selling new EV model was the BYD Song Plus, with the Volkswagen ID.Unix, Honda eNS1, Zeekr 7X, and Zeekr 001 also ranking among the most popular choices.

For the entirety of 2024, Ukraine recorded a 38% jump in EV sales, with total registrations exceeding 51,700 units.
