Turkish FM talks with Russian counterpart in BRICS summit
(MENAFN) On Monday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov during the BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
According to diplomatic sources, their discussions focused on bilateral political and economic matters, including collaboration in the energy sector. The ministers also shared perspectives on regional challenges such as escalating Israeli aggression, recent events in Gaza, Iran’s nuclear program, and the situation in Afghanistan.
