Car Theft Gang Busted In Nangarhar

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested a group involved in vehicle thefts in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province.
The group was captured during an operation in Batikot district on Monday, the Nangarhar police headquarters said in a statement. A Suzuki-type vehicle and various car parts were recovered from their possession.
According to the statement, the suspects would steal vehicles, dismantle them and sell the parts separately.
The statement added that the detainees will be handed over to judicial authorities following preliminary investigations.
