Trilateral Cooperation Forum Brings China, Japan, Korea Together
(MENAFN) The 2025 Trilateral Cooperation Forum took place on Tuesday, drawing over 200 in-person delegates and hundreds more online participants to explore avenues for enhancing collaboration between China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea (ROK).
Organized by the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), this annual forum was centered around the theme “Shaping the Future Together: Trilateral Cooperation under Global Transformation.” The event featured two primary sub-sessions that addressed both regional and global challenges that the three nations face.
The first session focused on exploring methods to fortify trilateral cooperation through strategic and institutional frameworks. The second delved into critical areas such as aging populations, climate change, carbon neutrality, and regional economic integration.
In his opening address, TCS Secretary-General Lee Hee-sup underscored the importance of fostering stronger ties between the three countries, particularly in light of escalating geopolitical tensions, economic fragmentation, and a rising tide of protectionist policies.
Now a hallmark event on the calendar, the forum aims not only to promote public awareness of trilateral partnerships but also to provide valuable perspectives on future cooperation among China, Japan, and the ROK. (TCS)
