Trump Says Israel Agreed to Terms for Gaza Ceasefire
(MENAFN) On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump revealed that Israel has agreed to the terms required to secure a 60-day ceasefire aimed at halting the ongoing Gaza conflict. Trump also called on Hamas to accept the proposed deal.
"Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60 Day CEASEFIRE, during which time we will work with all parties to end the War," Trump stated on his Truth Social platform.
Trump highlighted the key role played by Qatar and Egypt in the peace process, saying, "The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring Peace, will deliver this final proposal."
Additionally, the president urged Hamas to embrace the agreement, stressing the stakes for the region's future. "I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better - IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE," Trump emphasized.
