Baradar-Led Team Travels To Azerbaijan For ECO Summit
KABUL (Pajhwok): A high-level delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar departed for Azerbaijan on Tuesday to attend the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO).
According to a statement from his office on X, the delegation left Kabul following an official invitation to participate in the summit.
The deputy premier is expected to address the summit's plenary session and hold bilateral meetings with senior Azerbaijani officials to discuss enhancing cooperation between the two countries across various sectors.
The 17th ECO Summit will take place on July 3–4, 2025, in Khankendi, Azerbaijan, and will be attended by presidents and senior representatives from ECO member states.
