Ukrainian Air Defense Developments To Be Integrated With NASAMS Systems
“Ukroboronprom and Norway's Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA) have agreed on cooperation in the field of strengthening the potential of Ukraine's air defenses. This refers to partnership in integrating the existing and promising domestic short- and medium-range air defense systems into the NASAMS infrastructure,” the report states.
In particular, the parties agreed that Ukrainian developments would operate together with Norwegian command and control modules. Earlier, KDA's representatives held preliminary talks with Ukrainian colleagues and studied their production and research capabilities.
A reminder that Ukrainian Defense Industry JSC (UDI) and the European company, Airbus, signed a trilateral Memorandum of Cooperation.
As noted by UDI, cooperation will begin with the development of work and the acquisition by specialists of the company's enterprises of competence in the technical maintenance and repair of Airbus aircraft operated in Ukraine.
