Scorcher Continues To Grip Jordan Over 4 Days-JMD

Amman, June 28 (Petra) - The Kingdom will remain under the influence of a hot air mass Saturday, as temperatures are set to rise slightly, reaching 4-5 degrees Celsius above their seasonal average.
The weather will be hot in most regions, and sweltering in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), the weather on Sunday will be scorching nationwide.
On Monday, temperatures will drop slightly and the weather will substantially remain unchanged countrywide.
Also today, mercury in Amman will hit a range of 37-22 degrees Celsius, while the port city of Aqaba will see a blistering 43C, dropping to 28C at night.
