The main topics included political support and military assistance to Ukraine from partners.

Churkin briefed the Norwegian delegation on battlefield developments, the consequences of Russian air strike on peaceful settlements, and available intelligence on Russia's defense industrial development.

He emphasized Ukraine's will for a just peace and Russia's plans to pursue war.

"Russia is increasing the production of missiles, attack drones and other weapons to use them against our civilian population and critical infrastructure. The enemy continues to terrorize Ukrainians. The massive strikes against our cities demonstrate that Russia understands only the language of force," Churkin noted.

He undrlined Ukraine's need for additional air and missile defense systems, missiles for them, and support for domestic defense production aimed at strengthening defense capabilities.

Churkin thanked the government and people of Norway for their support and military assistance, the volume of which in 2025 will have reached almost $7 billion.

In turn, Petersen assured the Ukrainian side of Norway's unwavering support, adding that his country understands all the threats, because it also shares a common border with the aggressor state.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine called on partners from the United Kingdom to invest in the Ukrainian defense industry and to seek the most effective ways to do so.
