Russian Offensive Activity Decreases In Sumy Region Border Guard Spox
"Only in certain areas within Yunakivka and Khotyn communities does the enemy continue attempting to use the tactic of sending in small assault groups. However, overall enemy activity has decreased recently. This is, of course, the result of the efforts of Ukrainian defenders from all components of the Defense Forces, including the Armed Forces and the State Border Guard Service. In our defensive zones alone in this area, dozens of enemy soldiers have been killed or wounded," Demchenko noted.
According to him, the enemy has also reduced the use of motor vehicles and quad bikes, which were previously employed for rapid advances into Ukrainian territory.
The SBGS Spokesperson added that in this operational area, the enemy is not deploying armored vehicles, likely due to their shortage or in an effort to preserve them for future operations.
