Kuwait Amir Chairs Supreme Defense Council Meeting, Follows Up Regional Developments

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 24 (KUNA) - His Highness the Amir and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah resided on Tuesday a meeting of the Supreme Defense Council in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to follow up on the latest regional developments.
His Highness the Amir was briefed on all the efforts made by the concerned authorities in the country, the coordination between them, the extent of their readiness, and the high level of preparedness among these various sectors to confront any emergency.
Further, His Highness directed all concern parties to take all necessary measures and precautions to preserve the country's security and stability. (end)
