
Qatar Strongly Condemns Attack On Church In Damascus
Doha: The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted Mar Elias Church in Damascus, the capital of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in deaths and injuries.
In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance in rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or causes. It emphasized its absolute rejection of targeting places of worship and terrorizing innocent civilians. It also affirmed its full solidarity with the Syrian government in all measures it may take to maintain security and stability.
