Cinc Syrskyi: Front Line Length Increased By 200 Km Over Past Year

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) He announced this at a meeting with journalists, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“You know that over the past year, the length of the front line has increased by 200 km and is now about 1,200 km,” Syrskyi said.

He noted that the Russians are preparing for a protracted war of attrition. This, according to him, is their main strategy.

“We know the capabilities of our enemies. We know that over the past year they have recruited about 440,000 contract soldiers, that is, those who went to war for money, for high pay and regional allowances,” the commander-in-chief said.

He noted that the Russians also have a strategic reserve,“which consists of 13 divisions, a certain number of regiments and brigades, which is another 121,000.”

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that 695,000 Russians are fighting against the Defense Forces on the territory of Ukraine, and another 52,000 Russian troops are concentrated in the Kursk and Belgorod regions.
