Iran Moves Nuclear Materials Ahead of U.S. Strikes

(MENAFN) According to an Iranian news agency on Sunday, Iran’s state broadcaster’s political deputy revealed that Tehran had moved materials out of three nuclear facilities before they were targeted by U.S. forces.

The news agency, quoting the Qom provincial governor’s office, reported that “Part of the Fordo nuclear site area was subjected to an aerial attack by enemy forces.”

The deputy security and law enforcement governor of Isfahan also confirmed assaults near nuclear complexes located in Isfahan and Natanz, as reported by the news agency.

In response to these attacks, the Israeli military escalated its alert level, suspended educational activities, prohibited public gatherings, and halted non-essential work operations.

U.S. President Donald Trump declared that American forces joined Israel in executing military strikes against Iran.

On Truth Social, Trump stated, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.”
