Ethiopian Airlines Introduce New Passenger Route to Hyderabad, India

(MENAFN) Africa’s largest airline, Ethiopian Airlines, has introduced a new passenger route connecting Addis Ababa to Hyderabad, India, operating three times a week.

This latest expansion was celebrated on Monday during an official launch event. "Today, we have gathered here to celebrate the opening of a new passenger route, connecting Hyderabad to our 140 plus destinations worldwide as our sixth destination in India," said Mesfin Tasew, Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Airlines Group.

The addition of Hyderabad strengthens the airline’s growing Indian network, which began in 1966 with its inaugural flight to New Delhi. Since then, Ethiopian Airlines has steadily increased its presence across the country, now operating over 50 passenger and cargo flights weekly to major Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and now Hyderabad.
