NBO And INJAZ Oman Celebrate Successful Completion Of Financial Literacy Programme For School Students

The National Bank of Oman (NBO) hosted a closing event at its Head Office in Muscat to mark the successful conclusion of the current school semester's cycle of the More Than Money Programme, delivered in collaboration with INJAZ Oman. The event featured an interactive student workshop, alongside inspiring remarks from NBO and INJAZ Oman representatives. This milestone marked the conclusion of a semester-long initiative that positively impacted 1,568 students across Muscat and Al Dakhiliyah governorates.

Delivered in alignment with the Ministry of Education's academic guidelines, the programme supports the nationwide efforts to prepare the youth for a better future by equipping school students with essential financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills-empowering them to make the best financial decisions and contribute productively to Oman's growing economy.

Moreover, the programme complements NBO's broader support with INJAZ Oman, which involved supporting two of the latter's flagship programmes; the More than Money Programme and the Company's Programme and Competition. Through these initiatives, NBO contributes to nurturing the next generation's financial acumen and entrepreneurial capabilities.

By supporting these programmes, NBO invests in youth empowerment and helps bridge the gap between academic education and real world skills. The partnership advances NBO's broader strategy to promote financial inclusion and support national capacity-building through impactful community initiatives.

The Company Programme and Competition engage older students in hands-on entrepreneurship, from developing business plans to running student-led ventures, complementing the financial literacy foundation that The More Than Money provides to younger students.
