Moscow, June 16 (Petra) – The Russian Foreign Ministry on Monday called on its citizens to leave Israel immediately, citing heightened military tensions between Tel Aviv and Tehran and a growing risk to civilian safety.
"In light of the escalating military situation in the region, Moscow is assessing the possibility of organizing an evacuation operation for Russian nationals currently in Israel," the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry warned that the threat to the lives and safety of Russian citizens and diplomats in Israel is real and cannot be ignored.
The advisory comes as tensions continue to surge following mutual strikes between Israel and Iran, raising fears of a broader conflict in the Middle East.
