Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center Holds Training Programme To Enhance Skills Of Presenters Of Islam

Doha, Qatar: As part of its continuous efforts to promote effective communication and intercultural dialogue, the Sheikh Abdulla bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center has launched a specialised training course aimed at enhancing the skills of its presenters of Islam in engaging with audiences from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.

The programme, which extended over five sessions, focused on key areas such as understanding world religions and belief systems, the fundamentals of interfaith dialogue, principles of mutual respect, and the importance of embracing cultural diversity in religious outreach.

The participant staff was from various nationalities, which was designed to strengthen their ability to convey Islamic values in a manner that fosters understanding and coexistence. The training provided practical tools and frameworks to navigate conversations with individuals from different faiths, emphasising empathy, clarity, and respect as essential components of effective dialogue.

The course also underscored the growing importance of equipping presenters of Islam with cross-cultural competencies in an increasingly interconnected and globalized world. Participants engaged in interactive discussions, and scenario-based exercises to deepen their understanding and sharpen their communication approaches.

At the conclusion of the program, the Center held a recognition ceremony to honour the participants, who in turn expressed their gratitude to the instructor for his efforts in developing and delivering a comprehensive and impactful curriculum. The training was praised for its depth, relevance, and practical value.
