Despite The SUNTRACS Strike In Panama, Workers On The Fourth Canal Bridge Return To Work -

(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) The four work fronts of the construction project for the Fourth Bridge over the Panama Canal are slowly beginning to reactivate, despite the ongoing strike by a group of construction workers, called by the National Union of Construction and Related Workers (Suntracs), in rejection of Law 462, which reformed the Social Security Fund (CSS). According to the Minister of Public Works, José Luis Andrade, work on the Fourth Bridge has already begun to resume, despite the fact that 30% of the Ministry of Public Works' (MOP) infrastructure projects, mostly located in the capital city, are paralyzed.
