Kuwait's Champs Win Medals In Gulf Athletics Championship

DOHA, May 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's athletics team players continued on Monday to secure a number of medals in the 18th Gulf Athletics Championship for Youth, held in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Athlete Mohammed Al-Duaij secured the gold medal in the Long Jump Competition with a distance of 2 Meters, and his teammate Hamad Feirouz secured the silver medal acheiving the same distance.
In a 110-meter hurdles race, athlete Mishari Al-Mutairi won the gold medal with a time of 13.94 seconds, while his teammate Jassem Al-Junaei claimed the silver medal with a time of 14.02 seconds. Athlete Khaled Al-Yalous secured the bronze medal in the decathlon event.
The tournament is set to continue until tomorrow, Tuesday. (end)
