He asserted that global leaders and corporate figures have been seeking relief from the recently introduced tariffs, which were implemented earlier this month.

In a message shared via his Truth Social platform, Trump stated that his April 2 announcement of “Liberation Day” — a move that imposed reciprocal tariffs on nations he accuses of engaging in inequitable trade behavior — has sparked engagement from international officials and industry leaders.

“They must right the wrongs of decades of abuse, but it won’t be easy for them,” he remarked.

“We must rebuild the Wealth of our Great Country, and create true RECIPROCITY.”
