Kyrgyzstan Proposes To Intensify Feedstock Cooperation With EU
"Another promising area of cooperation is the development of critical raw materials. Kyrgyzstan has significant reserves of rare and valuable metals. We propose to intensify cooperation in this area, formalizing it in the form of a separate partnership or roadmap, similar to what has already been done between the European Union and some of our neighbors-Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan," noted the head of state.
In the context of developing cooperation in infrastructure development and creating modern transport corridors, Zhaparov welcomed the EU's initiative to invest funds in the development of sustainable transport connectivity in Central Asia, with a total amount of 10 billion euro.
The president emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is determined to deepen its partnership with the EU and expressed confidence that new specific agreements will emerge from today's meeting, providing additional momentum to relations between Central Asia and the European Union.
