Mali Shcherbaky In Zaporizhzhia Region Remains Under Ukrainian Control Military Spokesperson

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The village of Mali Shcherbaky in the Zaporizhzhia region remains under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, despite Russian propaganda falsely claiming its capture.

Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for Ukraine's Southern Defense Forces, stated this in comments to Ukrinform.

"Two days ago, Russian propaganda actively spread claims that their forces had entered Mali Shcherbaky. Lacking real victories, the enemy fabricates them and promotes these lies in the media. I officially state that we have not lost any positions in Mali Shcherbaky -- this settlement remains under the control of Ukraine's Defense Forces," Voloshyn said.

At the same time, he noted that Russian troops continued aggressive assault operations, attempting to secure footholds and take control of several logistical routes leading from Zaporizhzhia to other parts of the region.
