Microsoft Enhances Cybersecurity with AI-Driven Security Copilot

(MENAFN) After one year of unveiling its AI-powered Security Copilot to improve cybersecurity with a chatbot, Microsoft is enhancing the tool by introducing AI agents that offer autonomous assistance to security teams facing pressure.

The company is launching six AI agents for the Security Copilot, in addition to five developed by its collaborators.

The upcoming month, Microsoft will preview its six new security agents, which are developed to perform tasks like triaging as well as processing phishing and data loss alerts, prioritizing urgent cases, and monitoring vulnerabilities.

Vasu Jakkal, corporate vice president of Microsoft Security, stated on the company’s official website on Monday: "The six Microsoft Security Copilot agents enable teams to autonomously handle high-volume security and IT tasks while seamlessly integrating with Microsoft Security solutions."

Microsoft is partnering with OneTrust, Aviatrix, BlueVoyant, Tanium, and Fletch to incorporate third-party security agents.

These collaborations will help streamline activities such as analyzing data breaches with OneTrust and performing root cause analysis of network failures with Aviatrix.
